Orders & Shipping

Where do you ship?
At present, we ship to all 50 states within the United States. We are not yet shipping internationally but hope to in the future. If you have a special request, please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate it with care.

How long will my order take to arrive?
We process and pack orders with mindful attention within 1–2 business days. We offer both Standard (3–7 business days) and Expedited (2–3 business days) shipping options, which you can select at checkout.

How can I track my order?
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing a link to track your package’s journey to you. You can also find tracking information within your account details if you have created one.

Can I change or cancel my order?
If you need to make a change or cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do everything we can to assist you, but once an order has been fulfilled and shipped, we are unable to make modifications.

What if my package is lost or damaged?
If your order arrives damaged or does not arrive at all, please let us know. We will work with you and the carrier to find a thoughtful resolution. Kindly include your order number when you reach out.

What is your allergy standard?
Our pantry is curated with a simple, steadfast standard: we prioritize products that are gluten-free, peanut-free, and dairy-free. We vet every vendor with care and handle all items with mindful separation to help prevent cross-contact. For your peace of mind, we always recommend reviewing the product's own label upon receipt for the most current information. See our Allergy Standard page for more details.

How are products labeled on your website?
In each product description, we clearly share what we know about potential allergens and how each maker handles them. Our top three concerns—gluten, peanuts, and dairy—are called out with care so you can see at a glance which items are free from these allergens.

How do you handle cross-contact?
We store and pack every item with intention. Pre-packaged goods are kept separate in our storage and packing areas, and orders are assembled on clean, organized surfaces with mindful handling.

Where can I find more details about a product's ingredients?
We provide as much information as we can on each product page. If you have any further questions about ingredients or manufacturing processes, please don't hesitate to contact us. We are happy to help you find the answers you need.

Returns & Exchanges

What is your return policy?
We hope you love every item you receive, but if something isn't quite right, we accept returns within 30 days of receipt. Items must be unused, in their original condition and packaging. Please note that perishable goods and items marked "Final Sale" are not eligible for return.

How do I start a return?
To begin a return, please contact our team with your order number and the reason for the return. We will provide you with simple, clear instructions to guide you through the process.

Can I return a gift?
Yes, gifts can be returned for store credit. Please reach out to our team with the original order number or the gift giver's name, and we will assist you with the process.

When will I receive my refund?
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will process your refund to the original payment method. Please allow 5–7 business days for the refund to appear on your statement.

Products & Care

How should I care for my items?
We believe in extending the life of cherished objects through gentle care. You will find specific care instructions on individual product pages as well as thoughtful guides in our Journal for clothing, home goods, and more.

The item I want is sold out. Will it be back?
Many of our items are made in small batches, but we do restock favorites whenever possible. On the product page, you can enter your email address to be notified the moment it becomes available again.

Will my item look exactly like the picture?
We celebrate the use of natural materials like wood, linen, and clay, which often have subtle, beautiful variations in color and texture. These slight differences are part of their story and should not be considered defects.

Gifts & Notes

Do you offer gift wrapping?
Every Birch & Fig order is packed with quiet care, ready for giving. You also have the option to add a complimentary gift message at checkout, which we will handwrite on a simple, elegant card.

Can I send items to multiple addresses?
At this time, we can only ship to one address per order. If you wish to send gifts to multiple people, please place a separate order for each recipient.

Are prices included in gift orders?
No, we do not include prices or receipts in any of our packages. Your recipient will only see the beautifully packed gift and your personal message.

Do I need an account to place an order?
You can always check out as a guest. Creating an account allows you to view your order history, track current orders, and save your shipping details for a calmer, quicker checkout experience in the future.

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, as well as Shop Pay, Google Pay, and Apple Pay for your convenience.

How do I subscribe to The Journal?
You can subscribe at the bottom of our site to receive our weekly newsletter. We share new articles, quiet notes, and practical guidance for a more thoughtful life, delivered softly to your inbox.

Do you offer wholesale?
